Who We Are

We Love SE25 is the Town Team for South Norwood. We are made up of local community organisations, businesses, faith groups, schools, businesses, resident groups and local councillors. We work closely with London Borough of Croydon whilst maintaining our independence.

First formed in 2016 to work on the CEDP, our group was formally constituted in February 2018 and held our first Annual General Meeting (AGM) in July 2018.

Our core aims are:
– Developing We Love SE25 to Deliver Change
– Reconnecting Our Community with Our Local Businesses
– Strengthening Our Community through Learning, Working and Playing
– Bringing Empty Property Back in to Use
– Increasing local employment, business ownership and successful business
– Re-creating a Pleasant Modern Market Town Environment – encouraging locals and visitors to spend time and money in SE25
– Involving the Whole Community in ‘Our Community’
– Embracing local heritage and environment

Our Committee is elected by member organisations at our Annual General Meetings:

  • Cllr Patsy Cummings, (South Norwood ward councillor) – Chair
  • Cllr Hamida Ali, (Woodside ward councillor) – Vice Chair
  • Shuba Rao, (The Shift Collective) – Secretary
  • Christina Peskett, (People for Portland Road) – Treasurer
